The new vessel is designed to carry out well intervention operations in accordance to the MODU code and DNV’s class notation WELL INTERVENTION UNIT 2. To ensure the safe operation of the vessel, the highest requirements on station keeping capabilities have to be fulfilled and are reflected by the class notation DYNPOS-AUTRO and the layout of the complete propulsion plant. To carry out all kind of subsea operations the vessel will be equipped with a moonpool, various subsea and offshore cranes and a skidding system. All the equipment will be arranged on one of the biggest work decks in that class of offshore support vessels
